Differin Dark Spot Correcting Serum is formulated with 2% Hydroquinone Skin Lightener — a maximum-strength skin lightening ingredient available without a prescription — to improve overall luminosity and gradually fade darker discoloration, post-acne marks, blotches and hyperpigmentation. Post-acne marks are a common issue for acne sufferers. By brightening those areas, skin can appear more even and clear. This gentle gel-like formula is dermatologist-tested and safe for everyday use. Differin Dark Spot Correcting Serum is also paraben-free and noncomedogenic (will not clog pores). To use, simply apply a pea-sized amount of product to discolored areas once per day. This product can be layered under makeup and can be applied in the morning or at night. Differin recommends using this product together with a gentle cleanser, moisturizer and sun protection at least 30 minutes prior to UV exposure.

Instructions: Directions: Sun exposure should be limited by using a sunscreen agent, a sun blocking agent, or protective clothing to cover bleached skin when using and after using this product in order to prevent darkening from reoccurring. Adults: Apply a small amount as a thin layer on the affected area twice daily, or use as directed by a doctor. If no improvement is seen after 3 months of treatment, use of this product should be discontinued. Lightening effect of this product may not be noticeable when used on very dark skin. Children Under 12 Years of Age: Do not use unless directed by a doctor.
